Hundreds Protest Publicly After Zetas Torched Hotel Casino Filled With "middle class women who frequented the casino with friends."

 via Associated Press
MONTERREY, Mexico (AP) — Police in northern Mexico have arrested five alleged members of the Zetas drug cartel suspected of setting a casino fire that killed 52 people, authorities said Monday.
Nuevo Leon state Gov. Rodrigo Medina said police are looking for two other suspects.
The five men, aged 18 to 37, have confessed to participating in the attack Thursday at the Casino Royale and of belonging to the Zetas drug cartel, the governor said, and some had been arrested before for kidnapping or extortion.
Police are investigating whether the attack in the city of Monterrey was in retaliation for not paying extortion money.
The attack "was directed at the casino, not at the people," Medina said in at a news conference where he also showed a video where two men are seen at filling large jugs with gasoline at a gas station near the crime scene.
Another surveillance tape of Thursday's fire shows eight or nine men arriving in four cars and carrying canisters into the Casino Royale. In little more than two minutes, the casino is in flames and choking black smoke churns from the building.
According to witnesses, the gunmen burst into the casino and shouted for people to get out, saying they were burning the place down. But people ran farther inside the building and many were found dead from smoke inhalation in offices and bathrooms.
President Felipe Calderon has offered a $2.4 million reward for information leading to the capture of the casino's attackers, an amount comparable to rewards offered for the arrest of the country's top drug lords.
The attack shocked Mexicans in part because most of the victims were middle class women who frequented the casino with friends.
On Sunday, hundreds of people clad in white held signs demanding an end to the violence, as well as the resignation of the governor and Monterrey's mayor.
The city has seen a spike in drug violence since the split last year between the Gulf and Zetas drug cartels. The fight has left more than 1,000 people dead so far this year in Nuevo Leon state, compared to 828 in 2010 and 267 in 2009.
Nationwide, more than 35,000 people have been killed in drug-related violence since President Felipe Calderon launched an offensive against drug gangs in late 2006, according to the government. Others put the death toll near 40,000.

Air Force Vet Dedicates Future to Exposing Obama

'My personal goal is to see Obama removed before the next election' - Daryn Moran retired Staff Sergeant - USAF
An Air Force veteran who was discharged from the service in a dramatically quick move last week after he challenged Barack Obama's eligibility to be president says he's back in his home town in Nebraska, but his campaign to reveal the truth about the present occupant of the Oval Office is just beginning.
Daryn Moran was serving as a staff sergeant in the Air Force in Germany when he first became alarmed at Obama's insistence on installing open homosexuality in the U.S. armed services. Then, as part of his research into that issue, he found out about the many questions that remain unanswered about Obama's eligibility.
The result when he started asking for evidence?
A quick discharge from the military, a next-day flight home and a new status as a former member of the Air Force, as WND reported.

White House Insider - The Obama Plan - Part 1

from Newsflavor

"The president actually considered quitting. He really did. But now he’s going on the attack. He wants to give a big F-You to White America-that’s actually one of his primary motivations. You think the race card has been played up before? Just wait. 2012 is gonna be the most brutal political cycle we have ever witnessed. Ever." WARNING: Adult Content.

What did I JUST SAY about making stuff up? Andrea Mitchell pulls one out of her posterior.

Andrea Mitchell is either a Vampire, or she just pulled this 'real life experience' out of her posterior digestive tract.
NBC News' Andrea Mitchell personalizes the tragic story about Pat Summitt's announcement of her battle with early onset dementia.

NBC Busted Again! Folks, You Don't Get to Just Make Stuff Up!

NBC has decided once again, to just make stuff up. If we didn't have so-called 'Right Wing news', things like this would go unchallenged, and would grow. The Left can't stand freedom of information, because time and again, the facts just don't back up their narrative that big government solutions work for the people.

Before playing a perfectly reasonable quote from Gov. Rick Perry where he praises the growth of civil rights in the United States over the decades and discusses the continuing promise of economic freedom for people of all races and ethnicities, NBC News anchor Chris Jansing claimed that Perry was comparing the civil rights struggles with corporate tax rates. But, that's not what Perry did at all. Here is the full quote from Perry. Do you see any mention of "corporate tax rates"?:

" America's gone a long way from the standpoint of civil rights and thank God we have. I mean, we've gone from a country that's made great strides in issues of civil rights. I think we all can be proud of that. And as we go forward, America needs to be about freedom. It needs to be about freedom from over taxation, freedom from over-litigation, freedom from over-regulation. And Americans, regardless of what their cultural or ethnic background is, they need to know that they can come to America and you got a chance to have any dream come true, because the economic climate is going to be improved."

Kevorkian Economics

Kevorkian Economics
via American Thinker by Monty Pelerin
The bloated, self-serving political class can usefully be understood as parasites feeding off the private sector of the economy.  As the economy spirals toward collapse and the government toward bankruptcy, the necessity of spending cuts and downsizing of government should be obvious. However, the recent debt ceiling debacle indicates that the political class is not interested in saving the economy. As parasites: .. read full article at American Thinker

Why the Arab Spring Will Turn Into the Arab Winter

from The New American

Wafa Sultan is an Arab-American woman who was born in Syria, raised in the Islamic faith of her ancestors, rebelled against it, and emigrated to the U.S. She could not abide a faith that denigrates women and treats them worse than slaves. She’s written an extraordinary book, A God Who Hates, which for the non-Islamic reader explains why the so-called Arab Spring may well turn into another Arab Winter.

For me, the most compelling statement in her book sums up why the Western world has had such a difficult time understanding the Muslim mind. It sums up why it is virtually impossible to be optimistic about the future of the Arab world:
“When we were young, our elders drummed a saying into us: ‘We love death as much as our enemy loves life.’ A man imbued with a culture of death cannot be a human being, because a person’s humanity is not complete unless he respects human life and takes action to protect it."
Please read the rest of this article, it is an excellent excerpt from Wafa Sultan's book, A God Who Hates.

Agenda 21: When Obama Said the Climate Change Debate is Over, He Wasn't Kidding

excerpt from the article from

“Governments have a responsibility this year to take the next essential step in the battle against climate change, said UNFCCC Executive Secretary Christiana Figueres. How governments achieve the next essential step is up to them. But it’s politically possible. In Cancun, the job of governments is to turn the politically possible into the politically irreversible, she said.” (Bolded by Writer)
Executive Order 13575 was signed in June creating a White House Rural Council. The intent of this Executive Order is also to enact policy directly related to   Agenda 21 : Chapter 14.1 – Promoting Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development.
This video from a Fox News report details the government expansion of control of our food, fiber and energy production in our vast rural areas through this executive order.
This Agenda 21 stuff is NOT just another conspiracy theory.  This is serious, is happening NOW, and will be a nightmare to get undone!  Please read the entire article, bookmark it, re-post it, and share it with everyone.

Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) Does Not Believe in Freedom of the Press (video)

From Washington Times:
Thursday, August 11, 2011 - Bill Kelly's Truth Squad by William Kelly
Chicago, August 11, 2011 – This week U.S. Senator Dick Durbin held a press conference with members of the mainstream media to talk about the downgrade crisis. But the Senator’s scripted storyline veered off-course when a conservative reporter – me – showed up to ask an embarrassing question. Namely, “Senator, you’ve blamed the tea party…but do you bear any responsibility for this downgrade crisis?”What, you didn’t hear about this incident in the media? For those of you that need more proof that journalism is dead, read on. >>  full article

Gore Unhinged (language)

Here's a priceless clip of Al Gore lamenting the removal of climate change as an acceptable topic to discuss in mixed company, among other things.  He also calls "Bullshit!" on psuedo-science.  Haha! Oh poor Al, I'd feel sorry for the poor chap if it wasn't for the fact that his Green sham has made him a very very rich man.

I think a few more laughs at Al Gore's expense are in order.

Bernanke Perjury - The Fed is Selling US Wealth, Sweat, and Toil

Dedicated to Progressives and Barack Obama - March of the Pigs (with Lyrycs)

March of the Pigs by Nine Inch Nails

step right up,
crawl right up on your knees,
(no time to hesitate)

I want a little bit,
I want a piece of it,
I think he's losing it,
I want to watch it come down,
don't like the look of it,
don't like the taste of it,
don't like the smell of it,
I want to watch it come down.

all the pigs are all lined up,
I give you all that you want,
take the skin and peel it back,
now doesn't it make you feel better?

shove it up inside,
stains like the blood on your teeth,
(away the tender parts)

I want to break it up,
I want to smash it up,
I want to fuck it up,
I want to watch it come down.
make me afraid of it,
let's discredit it,
let's pick away at it,
I want to watch it come down.

all the pigs are all lined up,
I give you all that you want,
take the skin and peel it back,
and doesn't it make you feel better?
the pigs have won tonight,
now they can all sleep soundly,
and everything is all right.

Planned Parenthood Goes Bollywood

This video reminds me of the good old days, when the street freaks were harmless Moonies.  Granted, their tambourines were annoying, and bald-shaven women are never fun to look at, but compared to jihadists and union idiots, they were almost fun.  Almost.

Anyway, this video is good news in a sense:  It's that Planned Parenthood obviously has a lousy marketing division.  I first saw this video in a blog posted on American Glob.

The Best Thing That Ever Happened to Wisconsin Schools - Wisc State Sen. Glenn Grothman

Collective Bargaining Repeal: The Best Thing That Ever Happened to Wisconsin Schools
The repeal of much of Wisconsin’s collective bargaining law with regard to many of Wisconsin’s public employees has not been adequately explained. This repeal will do more to improve the quality and lower the cost of Wisconsin government than anything else we’ve done. There are approximately 275,000 government employees in the state of Wisconsin. About 72,000 work for the state, 38,000 for cities and villages, 48,000 for counties, 10,500 (full time equivalent) for technical colleges, and 105,229 for schools.  Only half of state employees are unionized, but almost all school employees are.  (cont'd)

Absurdly Unscientific GOP Primary Poll Results

Here are the results of the two GOP Primary polls I've run so far. The first one ran for about one month, in May. In that one, the voter could vote for only one candidate. I stopped the poll before the 100 votes maximum because Rick Perry and Thad McCotter had either announced or expressed interest in the nomination.

The second one ran from June - July, and in this one the voter could vote for two candidates. I ran that one to it's completion. Please remember, this poll is just for fun, which is why Sarah Palin is listed, even though she has not announced her candidacy.

Anyway here it is, and keep in mind, some of the candidates have not been included in the polls since May.

Things I noticed: Allen West has made a big push, Cain made a big push following the CNN GOP Debate, but since then he has slid a little.  Bachmann continues to stay strong directly behind Palin.  In the second poll, Bachmann and West were tied for the lead until the very end, when Palin got a few votes to finish out the poll.

Interestingly, but not surprisingly, Mitt Romney doesn't appear to be very popular among the #TCOT crowd.  Thanks to all who voted!
