Light Rail in the City is a Bad Idea
The Left loves light rail, and no amount of common sense, factual debate, or troubled history can dampen their lust for it. To the left, light rail symbolizes fuel efficiency. To the left, symbolism is what is important, not the question of whether the light rail system is cost-efficient, or even if it's actually needed. It's Symbolism over Substance as Rush Limbaugh put it during the Clinton administration. It is still true today, and light rail lust proves it.
