The incompetence and arrogance of political hack, Attorney General Eric Holder, is now in full bloom. He and the Obama Administration are in full freak-out mode, as evidenced by the sealing of records regarding murdered border agent Bryan Terry in the 'Fast and Furious' case. I couldn't be more delighted by their discomfort, but I'm outraged by the arrogance of their cover-up.

The extreme failure of the U.S. economy to rebound from the 2008 recession has brought harsh criticism of the President and the Democrat party, much of it claiming that they don't know what they're doing. I say that the President does know what he's doing. He and the radical Progressives who control the Democrat party have never intended for their economic policies to succeed. Their intention has been exactly the opposite.
I don't claim to be an economist, or an expert in finance and investment. However, I remember learning that, to the best of anyone's knowledge, recessions are cyclical, and are the result of market correction after a 7 - 9 year period of sustained growth. I've heard conspiracy theorists speculate that it's the Fed that purposely induces recession in order to reap gains from the shift in favorable assets and investments that recession causes. Those further out on the fringe have said that recessions are orchestrated by globalists pushing for a New World Order.
Whatever the cause(s), recession has normally been dealt with in responsible fashion by reining in government spending, lowering capital gains taxes to spur investment, lowering investment restrictions, and other traditionally conservative fiscal measures.
The Obama administration has employed the complete opposite measures that are known to have been successful in the past. The Left's goal has evolved into a quest to bring an extreme loss of confidence in capitalism and free market economics by the American people, and by domestic and foreign investors. If they could accomplish this loss of confidence during a time of extreme economic crisis, they could use the crisis as an excuse to seize control of banking, lending institutions, housing, health care, education, transportation, etc., all in the name of emergency crisis control. The frightened American people would not object if they had lost confidence in the traditional ways of doing things.
To achieve this loss of confidence and mistrust, the Obama administration has put a 'wet blanket' on every single aspect of the economy, and killed every single area that shows promise for growth in the private sector. Meanwhile, they blame Republicans, corporations, the Tea Party movement, and anyone else that wanders into their sights.
The most notable 'wet blanket' application has been on energy production. Another is Dodd-Frank with it's burdensome regulation layers on investment. Obama's and Democrats' constant threats on 'Corporate Fat Cats', and the passage of the ObamaCare Law (and uncertainty that still remains over it) were others. Obama's first high profile act that has been the most fundamentally effective has been the bailouts to banks and lending institutions to ease the shock of the bubble bursting in the housing market because of the sub-prime mortgage crisis. This has prolonged the housing and lending problem, and has kept the market from self-correction. Economists agree that, as the housing market goes, so goes the US economy.
To make matters worse, the effect that the sustained housing depression has got lending institutions wary and holding cash and assets to as they struggle to stay afloat. Loans are harder to obtain now than any time in recent history.
These, and every other move Democrats have made since then, have prolonged the housing problem, the lending problem, the jobless problem, and the energy problem. They all remain broken, or frightened into inaction, to this day.
I believe the reason that the Left's goal has radically changed during this recession, is that they saw opportunity to collapse the system when they saw the swollen debt left by the Bush administration. Combined with the 'crisis' caused by the predicted and known collapse of Fannie/Freddie, they saw the opportunity for unprecedented spending for bailouts that it provided. I believe they saw this as an opportunity to, with just a little more 'emergency' spending, push the whole works over the edge.

Soon, each individual setter learned that he or she could work less while still receiving the benefit of others' work. I was here in Madison during the protests in the spring of 2011, when Governor Walker and Wisconsin legislators signed the collective bargaining law. At the 'Recall Walker' rally on November 19th, I noticed a couple of things that were very different. This time the protesters seemed very well-trained. While going through these photos, notice the abundance of 'smiles'. When I'd point a camera at someone, they'd go from shouting and harassing, to serene and smiling in a split second. Another thing I noticed was that the 'blue fist' signs were gone, for the most part. In previous protests in Madison, the blue fist signs were everywhere. Evidently union leadership has decided to abandon it, since it associated their cause with Communism.
The public union hasn't changed, and either has their 'in-your-face' and 'win by any means necessary' attitude. But they have become much more media savvy. They have learned from their past mistakes. It seems like union leadership has taken some lessons from Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Muslim Brotherhood when it comes to dealing with media coverage.

This is another hard-hitting video comparing Occupy protests the Tea Party movement's events and protests. It's impossible to ignore the stark difference between the two, and should make any thinking person wonder why President Obama would try to put a positive face on the Occupy movement.
Occupy-generated violence and chaos is being allowed to fester in Oakland by Progressive Democrat Mayor Quan. Why are Progressives allowing this violence, disruption of business, and negative media coverage to continute? They want the chaos to intensify and spread across the country.
Police actions in response to the chaos are going to be used by Progressives and the Obama administration to try to fuel public sympathy for the unlawful actions of the movement. We're already hearing the blame the police drumbeat coming from Leftist media. When sufficient public sympathy is generated for the movement, I think that either some catastrophic event such as a bombing or other attack of Occupy protesters, will occur. Perhaps the protesters themselves will escalate the violence to extreme levels. If there is an attack, the media will try to make it appear as though it came from Tea Party members, or some conservative person or persons. Obama and Progressives will then claim that drastic measures are necessary to ensure the public's safety and to regain control of the streets. In the course of President Obama's drastic measures, the 2012 elections will be suspended, and they'll claim it will only last until order is restored.
The entire purpose of the Occupy movement, besides the simple application of pressure through chaotic conditions, is to suspend the elections of 2012. Once the elections are suspended, it will be the end of our Constitutional government. Progressives will not restore the election process until their political opposition (the Republican party and the Tea Party Movement) is marginalized and/or destroyed. Meanwhile they'll use this opportunity to begin making fundamental transformational changes to our governmental processes for 'the good of the country'.
We the people, as citizens of our free society, will be forced to revoke the Executive Branch's dictatorial power, and regain our God-given freedom either through force, or other drastic measures of our own. Unless, that is, we are able to stop the momentum of the Occupy movement before all this is allowed to occur. As of today, I see no such effort underway.

We've been hearing Fascist and anti-Semitic rhetoric coming from the Left from Occupy events, union protests, the New Black Panthers, Congressional Black Caucus members, and of course, extremist Muslims (who vow to never stop fighting until Israel is destroyed and the Jews are annihilated).
There has been a shocking failure of our Progressive public school systems to teach the history, and warn our children, about Hitler, Fascism, and the Nazi party. Is this a failure?
