Rastani's dire prediction is not the first we've heard recently. Glenn Beck has been warning us of possible economic collapse for months. Got food?  Rastani's explanation of why some investors don't fear market collapse, and in fact, even stand to make money from it, answers the question, "How can they let this happen?" Given the current global economic situation, we'd all (except those savvy enough to be heavily invested in commodities) be in deep do-do if any organization tried to gain power or destroy opposition through such a collapse. Global investors would stand to reap record-setting profits from it, and the control freak types would get to boss us around for awhile.

China is growing rapidly as an industrialized and more modernized semi-capitalist nation.  But China also has serious social and political problems, and will be forced to deal with them probably sooner rather than later.

Frederica Wilson of the Congressional Black Caucus said that "the real enemy is the Tea Party", Jesse Jackson said they fought a 'tea party' back in the civil rights days, Maxine Waters said she'd like to help Tea Party people go "straight to Hell."  President Obama said the only thing blocking the United States from economic recovery was the Tea Party.  So yeah, it's election season, and even though the economy needs a bit more attention from majority-holding Democrats, they've gone into all-out attack mode on Tea Party movement supporters (a HUGE number of American citizens, btw).

So I just wanted to let the Ruling Class Machine know that WE THE PEOPLE will not be intimidated, we will not be silenced, and we will not stop until the country is on stable ground again.  WE THE PEOPLE, whether we are supporters of the Tea Party movement or not, are...

Breitbart Keeps It Real - Transcription of Breitbart's "Bring it On" Statement

I don't take this statement, or speech if you will, by Andrew Breitbart lightly. I think he was being quite profound, and cutting right to the bone of what many Conservatives and even mildly interested Americans have been thinking this year.   I transcribed his statement because I think it gives a person time to really digest what Breitbart is saying.

Breitbart, in his own words:

I must say, in my non-strategic.. because I'm under attack all the time, if you see it on Twitter, they taunt (unclear) and call me gay, I mean it's just, like they're vicious, there are death threats and everything.. and so there are times, where I'm not thinking as clearly as I should. And in those unclear moments I always think to myself, "Fire the first shot. Bring it on." Because I know who's on our side.  And they know that.  They can only win a rhetorical and a propaganda war.  They cannot win.  We outnumber them, in this country, and we have the guns.  So.. they..  [laughter]

I'm not kidding.

They talk a mean game, but they will not cross that line.  Because they know what they're dealing with.  And I have people who come up to me, in the military, major named people in the military, who grab me, and they go, "Thank you for what you're doing, we got your back."  And so.. ah.. [cheering] [applause]  And so they understand that.  These are the unspoken things we know, they know.  They know who's on their side.  They've got Janeane Gerafalo... we are freaked out by that. [laughter]

We accept that when push comes to shove, they know who's on our side.  They are the bullies on the playground, and they are starting to realize, "What if we [conservatives] were to fight back?  What if we were to slap back?"  You know these union thugs, these public sector union thugs, I'm just waiting.. bring it on.

I'm sick of it. I'm sick of this Trumka guy, I'm sick of this John Sweeney guy, I'm sick of the SEIU, I'm sick of them going to people's homes.. executive's homes.. and showing up, and the media not thinking it.. you don't think there's a problem with that?   Katie Couric.   What if we went to Katie Couric's house?   What if the Tea Party showed up at Katie Couric's house?  And scared the living crap out of her teenage kids?  And that's what they [union people] do, because they know the main stream media won't cover it.

And so.. there's just a part of me that wants them to walk over that line.

Hoffa Jr. Killed Sarah Palin's Iowa Speech

So Sarah Palin 'swooped into Iowa' and slammed Crony Capitalism, among other topics, and was due to have her spot in the news cycle on the first business day following a 3 day weekend.  But not so fast, Palin, Hoffa has something to say in Detroit!

Now, everyone knew Obama wasn't going to say anything of substance there, so nobody was paying much attention.  It was Labor Day weekend, after all.  So how does any good Alinsky community organizer get attention?  Do something to piss people off.  Protest in the street?  Nah, too tame for POTUS.  How about another good ol' union thug, swearing at the Tea Party movement?  Yeah.. perfect.  Touche' Comrades.  Guess us Americans will just have to live and learn.

Hardcore Madison Progressive, Rep. Tammy Baldwin, runs for Senate in Wisconsin

Tammy Baldwin gave a speech immediately before Barack Obama at the 2004 Democrat Convention.  She was considered one of DC's up-and-coming stars.  She's very photogenic, soft spoken, and intelligent.  Even I kind of like her, politics aside, as her personality shows in interviews immediately.  She seems a likeable person.

She represents Madison, WI, so she's not used to running a tough campaign, but I think she's going to be a very formidable opponent.  She's been openly lesbian as long as I've ever heard of her in politics, and she's been known in Wisconsin for quite some time, partially for that reason. Name recognition is huge, however, regardless of its original source.

These things all make me wish Tammy Baldwin would just stay at her cozy little spot here in Madison, and enjoy the.. um.. Progness of it all.

Obama Agrees With Hoffa Jr. That It's Time To Kill You and Me

Yep, Obama had to have heard Hoffa Jr. say it was time to take us sons of bitches out, as he was at the side of the stage waiting to come on. Then he goes on to state he is proud of him. I would have thought some sort of admonition would be in order for Hoffa from Obama for that incendiary comment. But nope! I will take his silence and later praise as agreement with Hoffa's statement. I take people at their word, even politicians!

Palin swoops into Iowa and attacks Crony Capitalism

I've been one of the people who think Sarah Palin has been brilliant so far in her 'campaign', or whatever you want to call it.  She has been carefully measuring the topics of her speeches, controlling her agenda, all while hovering over the scurrying Lame Stream Media, laughing her head off.
In this latest speech from Iowa, she takes on corporate welfare, or Crony Capitalism.  THIS is where the Left and the Right converge on the issues.  This is the type of issue the Tea Party movement is addressing, and it scares the heck out of establishment GOP and especially the Democrat Party.
Crony capitalism is something every American despises, and Obama has been kind enough to bring the issue to the fore with his appointment of Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of General Electric Company, to his administration.  Everyone remembers Immelt's admission that GE paid almost no corporate income tax in 2010.  It will be difficult for anyone to attack any GOP candidate, on this position.

It looks to me like Sarah Palin is circling her prey (Obama), scanning the geography, choosing her tools and weapons, and is preparing to swoop in and strike.
