Fullerton, California Cops Brutally Beat a Homeless Man into a Coma(Video)

A homeless man, Kelly Thomas, aged 37, was beaten and Tasered, and eventually died from his treatment by Fullerton cops.  This article is hearbreaking to say the least.  The video contains some rough language, it's unedited footage from the street.

McCain Quotes a Misguided WSJ and Further Distances Himself From Winners

John McCain, forever the ineffectual centrist, managed to ensure himself Sunday engagements on "Meet the Left" and "This Week with George Snuffle-Upagus" with this floor speech.  He quotes the WSJ, which was talking about people who think default would end well for Republicans (and of course this is not the prevailing opinion among any mainstream political group).  It referred to Tea Party people as Hobbits, blah blah, ...Mordor.. blah blah.. whatever.  So McCain decides he should quote this?  McCain didn't stop there, though.  He was using this reference in order to punch home his evidently very strong opinion that the debt ceiling will be raised, no matter what.
I say McCain needs a punch in the nose, first.  Then a rude ousting from the prestigious halls of the United States Senate would be in order.
Senator, you served our nation with honor.  Your heroism is legendary, and everyone should read about it.  However, you have done enough damage to the Republican party for one decade.  You Sir, must go!

Democrat Stronghold Detroit Set to Ration Public Services

from CNBC
DETROIT - Detroit neighborhoods with more people and a better chance of survival will receive different levels of city services than more blighted areas under a plan unveiled Wednesday that some residents fear may pit them against each other for scarce resources.
Mayor Dave Bing released details from his Detroit Works Project, calling the changes a "short-term intervention" necessary because the city, with limited financial resources, a $155 million budget deficit and a dwindling population, was spread dangerously thin. ... full story

Charles Krauthammer: Obama At His Most Sanctimonious

KRAUTHAMMER: This is Obama at his most sanctimonious, demagogic, self-righteous and arrogant. And given the baseline it wasn't a pretty sight. Look, he started out by summoning the leaders of Congress -- summoning them -- at 11:00. Who does he think he is? In the American system, the executive and Congress are coequal. In a banana republic, the caudillo will summon the members of the Congress. The way he demanded their appearance in the Oval Office I thought was disgraceful. The branches are coequal.

Second, on this issue he said "We have set forth a plan." He has set forth nothing. Nor has the Democratic controlled Senate. The Republicans offered a detailed plan. The Ryan plan in the House, and they offered Cut, Cap and Balance this time around. The President has offered nothing except he says if you go in the back room now my staff will give you a tick-tock of everything I'm supposed to have given. He has never once spoken about real cuts.
And lastly, what was interesting is even at this late date where he says that the fate of the republic hangs on the debt ceiling extension, he said if given a short extension of, say, half a year I won't except it. Why? because he says I want this to go past election day. That is entirely self-serving and political, and he pretends he's the one who's not interested in politics.

Light Rail in the City is a Bad Idea

The Left loves light rail, and no amount of common sense, factual debate, or troubled history can dampen their lust for it. To the left, light rail symbolizes fuel efficiency. To the left, symbolism is what is important, not the question of whether the light rail system is cost-efficient, or even if it's actually needed.  It's Symbolism over Substance as Rush Limbaugh put it during the Clinton administration. It is still true today, and light rail lust proves it.
This is just a fun video showing light rail vs vehicles in cities across the US

EPA Ordered Wisconsin's Fox River Cleanup; Costs to Exceed $1Billion

Two companies, Appleton Papers and NCR Corp. have paid most of the cleanup costs so far, and are now arguing that others should be paying more, and there doesn't seem to be any reason why this shouldn't turn into a Trial Attorney's Bonanza.  Of course, the EPA already will have an army of lawyers, well-fed and very well-paid, courtesy of the US Taxpayer.  In essence, the taxpayers will be paying for a government entity, the EPA, who is unaccountable to the voting public, to fight to damage companies that provide jobs for Wisconsinites.

If I could vote on this issue, I'd vote NO! Or I'd work to get the scoundrel who did this voted out of office.  Of course I have no vote, and the EPA is a bull in a chinashop whose inventory is dangerously low as it is.

Meanwhile the unemployment rate continues to hover near 10%, inflation has set in, the housing market is still broken after 2.5 years, and Congress is playing Mexican poker with the budget, with politicians threatening default and calamity.

What a wonderful time for an American corporation, who provides jobs in it's pursuit of evil profits, to be getting whipped about the head and shoulders by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
  • Is it any wonder the US is losing economic strength?
  • Is it any wonder that most of the voting age public has turned its back on the entire process, including the news that pertains to it?
  • Is it any wonder millions of alarmed Americans are talking about a return to Constitutional principles?
  • Does anyone doubt that almost every single politician in Washington DC at this time will have to be replaced in order to accomplish this?
  • America, we have our work cut out for us!
Below is an excerpt from the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel article:

"The cleanup is the largest of its kind in the United States, and according to court records, the cost of removing chemicals could exceed $1 billion.
The two companies that have paid for most of the cleanup so far - Appleton Papers and NCR Corp. - are close to ending dredging for the year because they want others to pay for a greater share of the cost.
The decision also raises questions about how the cleanup will proceed next year.
In 2007, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ordered Appleton Papers Inc., NCR and other companies to remove PCBs from the river. The PCBs were used to make a type of paper for copying known as carbonless paper."... read more Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel

Oslo, Norway: How Does One Man Kill So Many, Singlehandedly?

How this guy could have gunned down 80+ people by himself is beyond comprehension.  Even if he ambushed the camp while everyone slept, it seems unfathomable that he would be able to gun down that many before they simply scattered in all directions.  Perhaps he had everyone stand together or gathered somewhere before he opened fire? The details will come out soon, I'm sure.
Be prepared for the ever-so-predictable Obama and his band of control freaks to descend on this story as an excuse to try banning guns and anything else they can think of.  Read the article at Big Peace

Rain - The Beatles

If the rain comes they run and hide their heads.
They might as well be dead.
If the rain comes, if the rain comes.

When the sun shines they slip into the shade
(When the sun shines down.)
And sip their lemonade.
(When the sun shines down.)
When the sun shines, when the sun shines.
Rain, I don't mind.
Shine, the weather's fine.

I can show you that when it starts to rain,
(When the sun shines down.)
Everything's the same.
(When the sun shines down.)
I can show you, I can show you.
Rain, I don't mind.
Shine, the weather's fine.

Can you hear me, that when it rains and shines,
(When the sun shines down.)
It's just a state of mind?
(When the sun shines down.)
Can you hear me, can you hear me?
If the rain comes they run and hide their heads.

The Debt Ceiling, Default Debate is Full of Bullcrapery

I'm convinced that every lawmaker in Washington DC knows the whole debate is based on false premises, and that they allow the misconception to continue because it's advantageous for them, politically.

Politicians want the American perception to be that this is high drama.  A shootout at the OK Corral.  This puts them in the position of being heroes back home after the dust settles, and it gives them leverage over us voters.  Alright, fine, politicians do what they do. But...

I think it's all stagecraft, and I'm quite sick of it.  These clowns need to get serious, and get to the business of saving this nation from catastrophe.

Unfortunately, the catastrophe part of the debate is the only one that is based on reality.  This date, August 2nd or whatever, Ramadan as Rush Limbaugh put it, was derived how?  Obama whips out this date, and people start shrieking about financial armageddon after this arbitrary date.  They're predicting default if Tea Party Patriots don't shut up about the debt ceiling.

Michele Bachmann, among others, is right.  We can pay our bills, prioritize spending, cut where we need to, and make some real progress on putting DC's spoiled rich kids on a realistic budget.  She has been speaking nothing but truth on this stuff since she pointed out the hidden money spent through the ObamaCare law.

Just keep in mind what is really going on in Washington DC right now.  It's the struggle between the ruling class that got us where we are, versus a new class of Patriots, who love this country and what it stands for.  They want to preserve it because it is just, and because it's a miracle from God.  It has nothing to do with personal gain, personal power (it better not), or power of any single political party.

The new class wants to strip the power and money away from the old class, and old class isn't going to allow that to happen without a fight.  Keep knowledge at hand, truth in mind, and victory in sight.

Obama's Plan For Israel Coming Along Just As Planned?

So, let's see...
  • Obama calls for Israel to return to it's pre-1967 borders while Bibi Netanyahu was en-route to the United States for his speech the following day.
  • Obama's statement has evidently emboldened the Palestinians to seek statehood based on the (you guessed it) pre-1967 borders. They are set to officially seek recognition by the UN in September this year.
  • Obama's newly adopted humanitarian mission in Libya, along with NATO, have pushed for and set a precedent for 'humanitarian intervention' and regime change in the United Nations.
  • When Israel is forced to defend herself, and thereby commits an 'atrocity' (as will be defined by anti-Semitic members of the UN, and Progressives in the US and elsewhere), who can doubt what Obama's action will be, especially in light of Obama's Security Adviser, Samantha Power's, opinions on the subject.
  • In September 2011, the Palestinian Authority will seek statehood status from the UN, and what the votes will be; what the United States' vote, will be, is anyone's guess.
  •  Not surprisingly, Obama has scheduled a speech to the UN the same week that the PA will seek statehood.  What he will say, again, is anyone's guess, however, Obama claims he will speak about 'democratic transitions'.  Presumably referring to the Caliphate (Arab Spring) uprisings in the Middle East.
  • I am very concerned about the fate of Israel, and I question the motives of President Obama.  The rest of the Middle East makes no secret that it wishes to destroy Israel, and the West. (that's us).
  • Once emboldened enough, have their excuse,  and have backing from the UN, when will invasion of Israel will begin?

From Ynet News - Isreal News: Anti-Israel Bias in Mexican School Exam. What the...

This is a very strange development, and it caught my eye because who ever heard of Jew-hating Nazis in Mexico? I guess there are Jew-haters everywhere you go, but Mexico has never struck me as being a hotbed of anti-semitism.

Over the past year or more, we've been seeing reports of Hezbollah operatives present in Mexico.  It makes sense that eventually we'd start seeing the fruits of Hezbollah's presence there.  But school indoctrination?  Are we going to start seeing madrassas popping up all over like smallpox pustules?  This would be a somewhat frightening development if it weren't for the knowledge that our Dept. of Justice is sending advanced weaponry to drug cartels in Mexico.  Compared to 'Gunrunner', a little elementary-level indoctrination sounds tame.

But I can't help wondering, how soon before 'Mexican Freedom Fighters' begin clamoring for the United States to change her southern border, and we start seeing Mexican 'refugee camps' springing up in Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, and California?  Maybe Hezbollah, along with the drug cartels will abandon these slow-burn pressure tactics and just go with a more upfront approach involving advanced automatic weapons?  Maybe small, short range rocket attacks like our allies in Israel have been recieving for decades?

I know I'm extrapolating a lot from one incident, but is it really an unbelievable extrapolation?  It may be just the product of our need to confirm what we believe the southern border reality to be, but I think nobody has any doubt that America needs to jump on this southern border issue with both feet, ASAP.

Rupert Murdoch's Free Speech Abilities Are Making British Parliament Really Angry

Britain and Europe's Old Media have been growing ever more frantic at the prospect of competing with SkyNews and other Murdoch media influences. Murdoch's 'News of the World' has been labeled as tabloid journalism, which is nothing new to the UK or the US.  The NY Times predictably refers to Murdoch "..and the tabloid culture he represents...", and leads the reader to think the whole row is about Murdoch.

Well it's not supposed to be, is it?

Other news organizations have been involved in repulsive phone-hacking incidents recently, but their names were withheld, forgotten, or just ignored(?) in this article by the NY Times. (Which is not biased according to Jon Stewart the Rhodes Scholar)  In any event, the NY Times regained it's memory long enough to mention the ultra-left The Guardian several times, so their sloppiness doesn't appear to be dimentia.
Copyright 2011 by MGN Online

Recently there have been an allegation that Murdoch's 'News of the World' may have had a private detective in its employ, who may have hacked into phones of bereaved families of fallen  relatives serving in the British Army.  Of course this is just the last straw, and British Parliament now has decided that journalists' shady practice of phone-hacking is a major problem.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Murdoch is going to get the last laugh in this, however.  The fact that at this time, the phone-hacking is only an allegation, and that the target of the hacking is a little too coincidental. It would make too perfect a storyline for Lefty Old Media.  I'm guessing somebody's going to get exposed, and a hoax against Murdoch's media interests in the UK will be uncovered.

Rev. Wright, Black Liberation Theology, and White American Ignorance

by CarterFliptMe

The Reverend talks about how White America labeled him 'controversial' during the Obama campaign. Then he talks about how White America lies, especially to Black Americans. After that he goes on a tirade of how lousy White America has been to Black America. Predictable, I know.

My point is that to Black America, according to Wright, he is NOT controversial. Not in the least!

Regarding this, Rev. Wright is correct.

It is not uncommon at all to go to a church in Milwaukee, Detroit, or any other Democrat-controlled Hell-hole, and hear similar rhetoric from the pulpit.

In Black America, Muslims have been spouting much more direct & racially charged rhetoric since the 60's, or earlier, although their movement caught on in the 60s & 70s.

There is one problem to this entire discussion, and that is that White America is not really white. It's a huge melting pot, as everyone knows.  What 'White America' is, is 'Not Black America'.  White America only exists as a result of much of Black America's failure to melt into the 'melting pot'.  The reasons for this are, of course, many.  Some would say Whites exclude Blacks.  Others say Blacks don't want to be included, as evidenced by their collective behavior.  I think the whole situation is a big, mutated dog, chasing its tail.

One thing is clear in all of this. While there is only one America, there are two perceptions about America & what it is.  Rev. Wright's view is not uncommon, and thus, NOT controversial.  It was only labeled as 'controversial' in 2008 because most of 'White America' had little to no clue that these views even existed on such a large scale.

They do exist, but Rev. Wright is just another brick in a huge wall that exists between blacks & whites.  If so-called White America wants to include Black America in the melting pot, they could start by paying at least a modicum of attention to what Black America is doing.  What are they talking about in their churches, schools, etc? (and yes, America is still segregated)

So Obama's election has brought our great nation a little closer to racial understanding. But only a little, and before we can have understanding, we have to have knowledge.  We won't get any knowledge until we talk to each other. We can't talk to each other until the Political Correctness Tyrants go away. So, Al Sharpton, Bill Maher, Whoopi Goldberg, please go away, or at least just sit down & shut up so us adults can talk this out.

As we've seen, 'tax breaks' are some arbitrary high tax rate, imagined by Democrats, that is NOT being paid.  So if somebody is recieving a 'tax break', this is 'spending'.  Using the phrase, 'tax break' infers that US tax law has somehow taken steps through legislation and tax code to provide this 'tax break', when in fact, that is false.  As I stated, the current tax rates for anyone whom King Obama has decided is not fair and should be much higher is, a 'tax break'.

This guy is a typical lawyer with a mission, over-educated wordsmith. He's an elitist Prog, subscriber to the Ruling Class who couldn't tell you what's really going on if it would save his life.  We will never hear George Soros criticize Barack Obama.

Having said this, here's the 'speech'.

Limbaugh: MSNBC Can't call Obama a dick.

Limbaugh points out the glaring hypocrisy at General Electric's Progressive Media Campaign Headquarters, otherwise known as MSNBC. He comments on how MSNBC commentator Halperin got thrown overboard like a fat rat on a starved ship.  Had Halperin called any conservative a dick, or any other juvenile terminology, he would have probably gotten a bonus w/ a slap on the back.
